Product approval for under ballast mats
Some types of the Calenberg Ciprotec series have received product approval from DB InfraGO for use as under ballast mats.

The under ballast mats Ciprotec provide an economical and ecological solution for improving the elasticity of the track and also protect the ballast. Ciprotec consists of 100% recyclable elastomers and is lined with a geotextile (GRK 5) on its upper surface. Ciprotec helps to reduce environmental impact and conserves resources.

The recyclable and therefore economical under ballast mats are used in metropolitan, underground and tram traffic, long-distance and high-speed traffic and freight traffic. Ciprotec have been successfully tested in accordance with EN 17282 and DIN 45673-5.
